I can relate to all the reasons for not writing, except for the injured thumb. I have a sprained ankle instead. (But that’s really no excuse for not writing. 😊)

Sprained ankle works for me as a valid excuse! (though I'm sorry you're dealing with it)

I love this post. I’ve been drawn to books about work and rest lately, so this post made me think about whether I use my time and energy in the way I truly want to. Do I think of it as a resource to guard and use wisely? I also didn’t know you’re reading Celtic Daily Prayer. I think you know that one’s an old friend of mine. Hoping it is doing good for your heart. 💜

Thanks friend and yes, it's because of you that I ordered a copy of the Celtic Daily Prayer book, I'm enjoying it.

The flamingo is my favorite. I've seen a lot of your bird art, but I've never seen you do a flamingo. I love it!

My fall flavors that are filling me up are pumpkin bread (of course), pumpkin spice lattes (I found a new favorite at my local coffee shop...it has a strong ginger flavor), and my cranberry walnut bread. I'm also on a biscotti kick these last couple of weeks. It's not really a fall flavor, but it's a new fun treat in the morning!

I love you friend!!

It was fun to make a flamingo or as micah used to call them "M'flingo".

Your pumpkin bread recipe turned out great (except the bottom got stuck so they didn't look as pretty as they tasted!) You'll have to pass the cranberry walnut recipe along too..Matt will love it. I'm wondering if you are making biscotti or buying it? I love you back.
